The Gavin James Cannon Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to honoring our beloved son, brother and friend who died by suicide on January 22, 2020.
Gavin James Cannon
Gavin was smart, warm, quick-witted and kind. He loved good conversation and could chat with anyone about movies, music, sports, you name it. He was never in a rush and always had a smile on his face. He made everyone around him feel important. Gavin was simply just, easy.
Mission
Our mission with the Gavin James Cannon Foundation is to change the stigma around mental health while providing hope, support, and resources to those affected by suicide. Through advocacy, education, and strategic partnerships, we aim to advance awareness, expand access to critical mental health resources and promote evidence-based interventions. In cultivating a culture of compassion, resilience, and open dialogue we strive to create lasting change and offer hope to individuals and communities impacted by the loss of a loved one to suicide.
